Shoe Cream

Protect your shoes with shoe cream
Your shoes are an investment. Whether you own a pair of loafers, boots, or sneakers, regular care plays a crucial role in how long the shoes will last and in how well they retain their original look. Shoe cream is one of the most important steps in a shoe care routine, but it is essential to choose the right products and tools for the material.
What is shoe cream and what does it do?
Our water-based shoe cream refreshes your shoes by restoring colour, moisturising the material and protecting against water and dirt. Leather, suede, and nubuck are materials that dry out over time. Our shoe creams provide the moisture and nourishment needed to soften the material. The result is shoes and boots that retain their shape, colour, and feel for much longer.
Different types of shoe cream
There are different variants to choose from depending on the type of material:
- Coloured shoe cream: Perfect when you want to restore or enhance the original colour of your shoes. We offer both white shoe cream and black shoe cream.
- Neutral shoe cream: If you prefer not to use a coloured shoe cream, we also offer a neutral shoe cream. It works for all leather colours and is especially useful when you are unsure which shade best matches your shoes, or when you want an all-round cream that can be used on your entire collection.
- Water-based shoe cream: for suede and nubuck.
- Shoe wax: For shoes and products in leather that need a moisture boost, we recommend our shoe wax, which is richer than shoe cream.
How do you apply shoe cream and how often?
Always start by cleaning the shoe from dirt with a shoe brush or suede brush; it is important that the surface is dry. Then use a shoe cleaner to remove the remaining dirt. Apply a small amount of shoe cream using the product's applicator sponge or a polishing cloth, in circular motions, and allow the cream to air-dry. Once the shoe cream has dried, polish or gently brush with a shoe brush, a polishing cloth, or a suede brush. Exactly how often you should use shoe cream is difficult to say. It depends on how often you wear your shoes and in what climate, but a good rule of thumb is to give your shoes a little extra care once bringing them out for the season.
We can confidently say that consistent maintenance is always more effective than attempting to repair already damaged material. Would you like to learn more about shoe creams and shoe care, or watch a step-by-step instructional video? Our shoe care guide is available here.
