I never expected to own a pair of ballerinas – I always thought this type of shoe was too girly and unflattering for the silhouette. Then I came across the Aleya by Vagabond and immediately thought it looked different – and it truly is. The shoes are the perfect balance in their shape: contemporary high glam (timeless, goes with all outfits, creates a modern slim outline around the foot) and woodland elf-gnome lovechild (almost pointed neckline on top and more rounded around the toes, see photo. You almost never see that!). The material is also extremely high quality and they are so soft! And importantly: because the front isn't so long, you don't immediately get that classic crease when you bend your foot, for example when climbing stairs. I absolutely love them.
