Driving shoes

Originally designed for life behind the wheel, driving shoes were made to follow every shift and turn – with a flexible construction and a rubber outsole built for grip. 

Today, they read differently. Less about function, more about ease. Defined by their lightweight feel and slip-on design, driving shoes offer a relaxed alternative to more structured footwear. The flexible outsole and unlined upper create a close-to-foot feel – as suited for everyday wear as for long drives along the Italian coast. 

Once considered a staple in men’s wardrobes, driving shoes have gradually become part of the women’s shoe rotation. Today, the soft loafers move effortlessly between occasions, bridging casual wear with heritage prep.

Traditionally crafted in suede, the soft material remains a signature choice – tactile and understated, with a finish that ages naturally over time. Leather driving shoes shift the expression – cleaner, slightly more polished, but with the same sense of ease, equally suited for city settings as for off-duty moments. Whether worn as a vacation staple or an office go-to, the silhouette stays consistent in its purpose: effortlessness. 

For S/S 26, a completely new Edition is introduced: meet Mika, a modern take on the classic driving shoe. Mika offers a sharper, more contemporary direction, where a square toe shape and embossed leather meet the same ease of wear as originally intended.  

Alongside Mika, two familiar Editions return – the archived Larissa and Lorenzo. Both crafted in soft suedes, presented in a palette of earthy browns alongside seasonal accents of pink and blue. The uppers remain clean, with subtle detailing – from penny straps to leather bows. With Larissa and Lorenzo, we revisit the essence of the original driving shoe: soft, unstructured, and easy to wear.

Together, the selection reflects how driving shoes continue to evolve, moving beyond their original function into a modern wardrobe staple.
