Hillary Shoes

Colour/Material: Black, leather

I have two pairs of the Hillary shoes and really like the style. I am really a 5.5 but sized up to 6. One pair I’ve had for a while is now a little loose. I have always worn without socks so unsure if this will be a problem when the weather cools down and I start to wear socks with them. Style is pretty much flat; slight lift in the sole towards the heel and very flattering as they elongate the toe.

Lovely shoes, come up a little big, no problems exchanging for a smaller size. Very quick, efficient service.

I have to admit that I started a return after trying the shoes briefly and putting them back in the box. I was worried that they were too big but a smaller size would be too tight. But I gave them another try before returning and found that they were very comfortable and stayed on my feet fine. In addition, the longer toe gave my short wide foot a more elegant, elongating profile. So now I wear them all the time. It's only a couple of weeks so I can't vouch for how smart looking they remain over time.

They look great and are well made, but unfortunately they stretched a lot after the first wear and are now much too big. Unfortunately, it's too late to return them – so definitely order one size smaller!
