This season, we let Stockholm-based culture publication Nuda Paper interpret our Atelier collection. Nuda is a biannual independent print run by photographer Frida Vega Salomonsson and writer Nora Arrhenius Hagdahl. Together they produce hard cover publications, each exploring a theme through art, photography, design, science and thoughts. The result is Nuda Paper; provocative as well as aesthetically stimulating – a mix of ideas and expressions. With photographer Isak Berglund Mattsson-Mårn, Frida and Nora created six art images of the Atelier by Vagabond AW20 collection.
“The design of the shoes is timeless and iconic, and we wanted to mirror that in the images, working with the silhouettes and shapes. The Carmen loafer is the kind of shoe you can wear for years and years and we had to strain ourselves not to put it in every image. Our favourite image is the one with the blond-haired girl, sitting down and letting her hair fall to the floor. It is so pretty. She feels like a creature from the forest, or perhaps out of this world.”
The images can also be seen in Nuda paper: Terra
