Gloverall is recognized as the original duffle coat. With their heritage they have created an iconic status as one of the most respected British brands. Originally manufactured in the Belgian city Duffel, this type of coat got it's name. The coat soon became a success among the Brithish navy because of the toggle fastening which could be unfastened with thick gloves. Now Gloverall have teamed up with Japaneese brand Gauntlets which brings a premium bespoke Duffle coat. The stand out detail in this piece is the cross chest contrasting tie-string. I'm expecting a Gloverall delivery today or tomorrow- but stuck to the original, colour navy!
