This hotel my colleagues stayed at when they went to Paris! Looks really nice, don’t you think? It’s created by the Triago family (co-founders of Club Med) and the French philosopher Cyril Aouizerate. The hotel is designed by Philippe Stark. Both the rooms and not least the restaurant looks truly inviting and warm I think!

Recently a small crew from the design department spent some days in Paris to do some trend spotting and gather inspiration and influences. They also stayed at a cool hotel that I will tell you about soon. Spring in Paris sounds lovely, even though it was still pretty cold when they were there…

Some colleagues of mine went for a trip to London looking for inspiration, new trends and influences. Searching for this certainly makes you hungry… So here they share a restaurant tips to all of you: Wahaca’s.

This is a Mexican restaurant inspired by a market place where you can eat reasonably priced, fresh and flavorsome food. Everything is ethically sourced and you can preferably share tacos and quesadillas, washed down with fresh hibiscus water or a zingy cocktail.

And make sure you leave room for churros - crispy sugared doughnuts - that come with a hot chocolate dipping sauce. I’ve heard it’s a bliss!

Right now we are at Novomania, the “new fashion gateway to Asia”. From 7 to 9 March, 200 leading brands from Europe, the United States and Asia are expected as well as a record number of 20,000 visitors; retail buyers, distributors, agents, merchandisers, trend makers and media. We’ll see, hopefully you’ll see more of Vagabond in Asia…

During Copenhagen Fashion Week last week you could spot some Vagabond shoes on the runway! The Swedish designer student Emma Hanseklint was showing these beautiful creations at Designers Nest and the models were wearing Vagabond Code.
