Many of our Vagabond stores are now doing events to spice up this dark period of the year. Last night our store here at the head office acted host together with Bodyshop for some of our fantastic costumers... And this Friday, two of our stores in Stockholm, Sergelgatan and Plattan are doing events. At Plattan designer Isabella Idberg will be present all day to show her latest collection, singer/songwriter Elin Gustavsson will be playing from 12-2 and Dj Sane will be spinning some wax from 2 until closing... Competitions and 10% off on all shoes will also be offered! If you're around make sure to drop by! A sunny day at the office, and today we present a "today I'm wearing this" dedicated the men's... Dressed boots, brogues, workwear boots or sneakers, what's your favourite? Check out the nearest Vagabond store or the webshop where most of the styles are available. 

In the period of 14th-21st of October Ukrainian Fashion Week was held in Kyiv (Kiev in English). Vagabond collaborated with the avantgardeist and popular Ukrainian designer Eduard Nasyrov. This season Ukraine was celebrating their 25th fashion week. (F.Y.I: Ukraine is the 2nd largest country in Europe by area after Russia and has 46 million inhabitants).

"I love" is not only a love message. It is also one of Germans hottes magazine, which addict to modern love and its outgrowths. The magazine was launched and produced by ex students at AMD academy fashion and design in Berlin. In Ferropolis, the area of former surface mining, photographer Bernhard Musil showcased the students ideas of future fashion… Don't you think those one of a kind Vagabond's plays a key role?

Right now our team producing the Spring/ summer 10 campaign are around Palais Royal in Paris... The weather was good, but clouds have started to take over most of the sky. The whole team including our models Oscar and Frida are working hard to follow up on our successful "our playground is here" campaign for this fall. The final result will be shown later, but things are looking promising... and just so you know: This is the place where you will find the new campaign first!

What does Vagabond and 40 000 cows and farmers have in common? They are all in Paris right now... I guess that's about it! As we speak Vagabond is shooting their SS10 campaign in the city centre of Paris, and just next to them cows and thousands of angry farmers demanding more money from the Government. Life in contradiction! Right now our team is next to the Eiffel Tower, so if you´re around go by and say hi! More backstage images will follow later...

Yesterday our PR agency and friends at Spalt PR held a pressday at their showroom in Stocholm... Together with other strong brands, Vagabond's SS10 was presented for the press. Here is a preview of our flats, platforms, wedges and heels! 

 Bea Szenfeld is not only an amazing person, but also an amazing designer and artist... The playfulness in her design is way ahead of imagination, or what about a collection out of paper, or even out of pasta. The playfulness reflects her own personal style as well, where fantastic vintage pieces are mixed to something new. Her big breakthrough came after she won the TV broadcasted competition "fashion house" in 2003 and bet designers like Gareth Pugh among others. Back in 2006 Bea designed a shoe for Vagabond, which is only one out of many collaborations that followed. Want to know more about Bea? Enjoy:

 
1. Favorite place of inspiration? In my studio, among all of my books and magazines and of course in total silence!
2. In my Mp3 player right now? Taxi Taxi, Róisín Murphy, Benny Goodman.
3. Favorite getaway? Books and my bathtub.
4. In my next life I will... Be reborn as a poodle!
5. I'm afraid of? Loosing inspiration and heights.
6. At my first job I was... Working in a bakery. I had to go up at 4 o clock in the morning and bake tons of cinnamon buns.
7. Bad habit? Chocolate and shoes.
8. Worst fashion buy? Plastic shoes from the 60´s. They just fell apart at the shoe shelf after a while, and i didn’t had the chance to wear them!!
9. I spent to much money on... Bills.
10. Just before answering these questions I was... Dancing lindy hop with my fiancé.
