Invation of urban parasites...

by Robert 21. August 2009 13:53

A temporary or small house attached on an already existing building is a growing trend among architects and is called Parasite architecture. Parasite Las Palmas in Rotterdam is probably the most famous one and is an manifest towards mainstream, an attached concept on an old industrial building. Several concepts like this are popping up, Rucksack house by the German designer Stefan Eberstadt, Loftcube by Werner Aisslinger, and we probably just have seen the start. Interested in a Loftcube? 90 000 €, 39 square meters and 3 days to assemble! Voilá!
