Spent the weekend in Marseille...Yihaa! Formerly known for it's gangster life and Bouillabaisse, Marseille has now turned up as one of the most contemporary destination in Europe. With 3 stars in the Michelin guide, the restaurant Le Petit Nice has set the standard for Marseille´s culinary experiences. But, if you do not want to spend a fortune, there are several restaurants and bars around Vieux Port, the heart of Marseille. Around the port you´ll also find most of the cities fashion and interior stores. Antoine et Lili  is a must for thos who like pink as well as Allan Joseph is a must for guys who likes accessories. If you are looking for interior design do not miss La maison Marseillaise close to the port, or L'Entrepot in the bohemian quarter Cours Julien. Despite all graphiti and roughness it is around this area you´ll find the hippest restaurants, bars and local designers.  Vive la France!
