Our designers have recently been to London! This time they found a really nice lunch restaurant that they want to share! So if you are going to London, Le comptoir is a really nice place for great Lebanese food.

Here comes the tips on vintage shops in London as promised! The images are from Bang Bang Clothing Exchange and Reignwear, two great shops, both located on Berwick Street. So if you are in London and are up for some vintage scouting here you can find some good bargains!

Restaurant tips from London!
When two of our designers went to London to do some trend spotting (not envious at all!) they went to eat at two different pizza places. Both restaurants have nice interiors and serves great food and are even located within the same area. If you want a more quiet place you should go for Story Deli, and if you want some more buzz Pizza East is the choise!

Tomorrow I will share some tips on vintage shopping in London!

Some colleagues of mine went for a trip to London looking for inspiration, new trends and influences. Searching for this certainly makes you hungry… So here they share a restaurant tips to all of you: Wahaca’s.

This is a Mexican restaurant inspired by a market place where you can eat reasonably priced, fresh and flavorsome food. Everything is ethically sourced and you can preferably share tacos and quesadillas, washed down with fresh hibiscus water or a zingy cocktail.

And make sure you leave room for churros - crispy sugared doughnuts - that come with a hot chocolate dipping sauce. I’ve heard it’s a bliss!

I know, another exhibition tip, (and from London again...) but this one isalso really great!
This exhibition, called "Museum of Everything", has left Primrose Hill and travelled to Selfridges where “Exhibition #4” occupies over 15,000 square feet, making it the most expansive art collaboration in the history of the store. Here you can experience over two hundred drawings, paintings and sculptures by international contemporary artists!

Exhibition tip!
One of our designers recently visited The Saatchi Gallery in London which right now is showing an interesting exhibition called “The Shape of Things to Come”. 20 leading and emerging international artists working in sculpture today are exhibiting their creations in everything from granite monoliths to neon structures to buckled cars and stuffed horse hide.
This is the first time that the gallery space has been devoted entirely to three-dimensional works... If you are in London, why not pay a visit?

The ride costs £5, with all proceeds going to Bikes4Africa, a non-profit organization created to provide the people of the Mpumalanga province of South Africa with bicycles.

Proper attire is expected. Tweed suits, plus fours, bowties, cycling capes, and jaunty flat caps are all encouraged. Do your best for the highly-prized Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Woman prizes. Dust off your vintage velocipede for the ride; prizes awarded for best vintage bicycle. And of course don’t forget the world-famous Best Moustache prize, open to both men and women!

Parts of our design team went to London earlier this week for inspiration... Now they're back at the office, sketching new models and prints for AW10/11! The weather was hot, so scanning peoples feet did not give more than worn in Havianas. The team stayed at The Hoxton, a value-for-money design hotel serving one of the best Latte ever, perfectly located close to Old street!
