It has been an amazing year for the shooting-stars of Dead by April and for the finishing touch it all came together with a gold record. With a hectic tour schedule with festivals all over Europe and gigs spreading to Japan, they as well as Vagabond are here to stay in an international perspective. I have been in contact with Marcus Wesslén, the frantic bass player of the band who annihilates the five string Ibanez bass on stage. Of course I had to give him the returning 10 questions:

1. Favourite place of inspiration? The pub
2. In my mp3player right now? Adam Lambert and Dark funeral
3. Favourite getaway? The pub... again.:) or home with my friend msn.
4. In my next life I will...be the first president of Sweden
5. I am afraid of... eggs
6. At my first job I was... miserable
7. Bad habit? no
8. My worst fashion buy? Marc Jacobs sunglasses
9. I spend too much money on... everything
10. Just before I answered these questions I was... having coffee

Even if the planes aren’t flying, the spring sure is in the air.
Maybe it’s time to kick off your autumn favourites and slip into a pair of comfy textiles.
As some colleagues of Vagabond HQ enjoying their midday coffee in the warming sun, we wish you to do the same. (You might want to exchange the coffee against something cooler.)

Making a shoe, how hard can it be? Just pour all the spareparts into a form and wait for it to become firm? Or program an industrial robot to fasten heels to uppers, one after the other?
Watch this film and learn how to be a famous shoemaker in just 3 minutes and 20 seconds…
If this looks too difficult you might try another solution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTJISe870gE#t=3m47s

The first known mosaics are at least 4000 years old, they stretch over a variety of cultures though the first probably filled the purpose of carpets. The most famous ones can be found in the churches of Rome, even if they are beautiful we still like the modern approach, here are some interesting works of art. Feel free to contribute with your favourite ones in the comment form.

David Alvarez - 8,500 playing cards

Artful Dodger, no, not those (according to me) ugly clothes, I am talking about the demon producers who became famous in the late 90s whith their groundbreaking 2-step and who boosted Craig David's career. The bands name, Artful Dodger, is taken from a Charles Dickens character in Oliver Twist... Todays weekend warm up: Moving to fast- Artful Dodgers featuring Romina Johnson.

Kotori means little bird, and what can be nicer than some bird song in your ears... Kotori is a headphone manufacturer that offers more than 100 combinations of headphones. Not enough? No problems, then you can design you own by choosing your colour on any of the 10 components... The quality? Really good since they are working with Japanese Fostex, with more than 60 years of experience. Looking forward to a European supplier!

The 44 year old British born and Hong Kong based designer Michael Young has a career that spans for over 15 years... His latest work is a kitchen for Scavolini, but before that he hooked up with the Swedish furniture producer Swedese and created "The Avalon chair". Do I even have to tell you that it comes in a wide range of colours... Give it to me, and give it to me NOW! Preferable in black...
