by Robert 26. February 2010 13:10

This weekend warm-up; "Stereo love", was released already last summer, but have climbed the dance charts like a rocket the last couple of month and is now one of the most played club hits around. If you haven´t heard it before, make sure to turn up the bass and the volume before you press play, cause this song will definitely make your legs want to move!  The song is made by the Romanian producer Eduard Marian Ilie, more known as Edward Maya who has followed up this weekend warm-up with the brand new single "This is my life".

Photographer Bernhard Musil

by Robert 23. February 2010 14:21

Bernhard Musil is already an established fashion photographer on the German market where he have worked for companies like Adidas, Puma, MTV and Vagabond among others. In Sweden he might not be that known... yet! Which is a shame, since he is really good and one of the nicest blokes there is! Bernhard is born in Austria but has since 2005 his base in Berlin after years in Vienna, Miami, Milan and London. Today he is aswering our 10 questions to...

1 Favourite place of inspiration?

the cinema, or sitting at night on the beach and listing to the waves
(which unluckily rarely happens)

2 In my mp3player right now?

Wax tailor - Che sera, Fischerspooner - money can't dance,  recently
added classic: White town- Your woman and as always Sebastien Tellier's
Sexuality album

3 Favourite getaway?

my parents country house in the austrian alps. thanks to the lack of
light pollution, there is no place i ever saw more stars at night.

4 In my next life I will…

a mean squirell or already in nirvana

5 I am afraid of…

the simpsons being cancelled, like it happens to all good tv-shows

6 At my first job I was…

destroying documents in a paper shredder, until my fingers got caught
up in there. I was 8 years old and it was my first job in my parents
company.

7 Bad habit?

too many to name them

8 My worst fashion buy?

latex pants during the mid-90ies techno hype. i don't understand
anymore how we could have trashed the 80ies style in those years. no
scene commited more fashion crimes then the loveparade generation.

9 I spend too much money on...

Sample sales and massages

10 Just before I was answering these questions I was...

In bed watching documentaries online

Photoshop disasters

by Robert 22. February 2010 08:35

Many of the images that surrounds us have been manipulated and anything is possible in the ideal digital world. Photoshop disasters is therefor the name of the collection presented by talented Tove Jansson, a student at Beckmans college of design. "My collection is a glamorized parody, but also a tribute to these images that gives us an insight into a system that otherwised is closed to us" says Tove. The collection was presented during Beckmans annual fashion show in Stockholm and supported with shoes from Vagabond. We wish Tove good luck with her forthcoming studies and as a rising star on the Swedish design scene!

Enter the ninja

by Robert 19. February 2010 11:25

Die Andwoord. Thats the name of the group representing this weekend warm-up. Die Antwoord consists of Zef rap-rave master NINJA, fre$h futuristic rich bitch YO-LANDI VI$$ER and BEAT MONSTER DJ HI-TEK and they represents the sound of the South African streets. The group was created as late as 2009, but lead singer Ninja has been a part of the South African rap scene for ages, known for adopting different stage personas. Their career has been built on a viral phenomenon after their video "Enter the Ninja", this weekend warm-up, was uploaded on the internet. The band is planning a European tour in April, and the USA later this year. Check out their album $O$, crazy bananas, but really good!
