During the World Architecture Festival that was held on the 4-6th of November in Barcelona the Swedish architectures at Murman Arkitekter won first prize in the category Holiday. The award was given for the amazing design of Restaurant TUSEN in Ramundberget, Sweden. A restaurant built in complete relation to nature, both summer and winter, where the food and drinks are based on local specialities. Congratulation Murman!

Yesterday our lovely crew of Swedish store managers arrived to the bestcoast, sorry westcoast, of Sweden... 48 hours of inspiration, collection presentation and other good stuff of knowledge to bring back to their stores. Today they are wearing this! + a little preview of what to come for SS10.

Imagine the following scenario; You are visiting an acquaintance, who you do not know very well, but since it is out of town you need to sleep over. You bring your sleeping bag but needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night... tough times, you need to get dressed and jump with both feet together... OR?! Not anymore, you can just bring your MUSUCBAG... The Musucbag is a bodybag (no, not that kind of bodybag) which works as a sleeping bag... Padded with a lot of comfortable inserts that's makes it cozy to sleep even on the hardest surfaces. Comes in a large range of colours and works down to -13 degrees C. The average person sleeps 30% of their life... so why not sleep in style!  

The weekend warm-ups is something that is planned to put us all in a good mood, this weekend is altered... "Walk the line" with Johnny Cash is a true classic... and what we learned about classics is that they used to be recorded as covers. "Walk the line" is not an exception. What we also learned is that the quality of covers differ A LOT! LIVE did a cover of this song a couple of years ago, which according to me was a really good one, BUT; there is another cover of this classic song that is, as we speak, climbing the dancefloor charts all over the world... I believe Johnny rather would have killed himself than listen to this awful cover... Or what do you think? Please, lock Laurent Wolf in San Quentin prison... NOW!

Italian Brionvega has since the 60's designed electronical devices far out from the ordinary. Their new model rr226 is not an advantage. Designed already in 1965, inspired by architecture, the stereo was made as an enclosed piece. The updated, all piece hand made stereo still has the phono, but is also updated with cd, dvd and mp3 player... Mi piace!
