This weekend warm up is sweet like chocolate

by Robert 23. October 2009 14:23

Oooops... Friday already! The warm up for this weekend is yet another golden oldie, Shanks & Bigfoot with their hit from 1999, "Sweet like chocolate". This single had an enormous commercial breakthrough for the british garage scene which by then had rached their golden age with artists like Phats & Smalls, Artful Dodger  and Armand van Helden among others. This song is still the biggest record the UK garage scene ever has produced.

Icons of British Excellence

by Robert 22. October 2009 09:16

Gloverall is recognized as the original duffle coat. With their heritage they have created an iconic status as one of the most respected British brands. Originally manufactured in the Belgian city Duffel, this type of coat got it's name. The coat soon became a success among the Brithish navy because of the toggle fastening which could be unfastened with thick gloves. Now Gloverall have teamed up with Japaneese brand Gauntlets which brings a premium bespoke Duffle coat. The stand out detail in this piece is the cross chest contrasting tie-string. I'm expecting a Gloverall delivery today or tomorrow- but stuck to the original, colour navy! Laughing

by Robert 20. October 2009 16:47

"I love" is not only a love message. It is also one of Germans hottes magazine, which addict to modern love and its outgrowths. The magazine was launched and produced by ex students at AMD academy fashion and design in Berlin. In Ferropolis, the area of former surface mining, photographer Bernhard Musil showcased the students ideas of future fashion… Don't you think those one of a kind Vagabond's plays a key role?

Vertical village- Dubai

by Robert 20. October 2009 08:50

Constant reports about the economical crisis does not seems to bother the architectures at Graft or the craziest city in the world, Dubai. Vertical village is a residential, hotel and entertainment centre that is planned to support itself with solar energy. Well, good, a step towards a more sustainable living is a great idea... But, building a complete fantasy city in one of the worlds hottest places without taking nature in focus from the beginning must have been a raelly stupid mistake! I'm afraid we just have to wait until mother nature strikes back, or until they run out of oil.

In Paris right now- Vagabond campaign

by Robert 19. October 2009 13:10

What does Vagabond and 40 000 cows and farmers have in common? They are all in Paris right now... I guess that's about it! As we speak Vagabond is shooting their SS10 campaign in the city centre of Paris, and just next to them cows and thousands of angry farmers demanding more money from the Government. Life in contradiction! Right now our team is next to the Eiffel Tower, so if you´re around go by and say hi! More backstage images will follow later...
