Today's weekend warmup is dedicated to our neighbours down south- Denmark... Medina and her song "Kun for mig" has been played 24/7 this summer in Denmark and is now climbing the charts with her english version "you and me". During Copenhagen fashion week I had the opportunity to see her perform during one of the most spectacular fashion shows I've been to, designer Stine Goya's. Medina was then performing 5 meters up in the air on a diving-board, see the clip here.

Their event have just started, Both singer/songwriter Elin Gustavsson and designer Isabella Idberg are there, and DJ Sane will be playing later ... A totally organic and fair-trade labelled tea where the revenue is invested in social assignments... An utopia? Nope, that's LemonAid and ChariTea, soon launched all over Europe by the German company Lemonaid beverages GmbH.

Ateljé Lyktan is a well known Swedish lightning company... Designer Olle Lundberg has now designed the lamp Megalo, available both as a pendant and floor lamp. So far so good... the problem is that this floorlamp have given me major cravings! I want it, and I want it now! Buy it then might be your thought... Can't afford it is my answer! 7700 SEK, around 750€, and it's yours.

When you have bought a new pair of shoes (shoes = Vagabond) it is really important that you handle them with care and give them love. A different view each morning is now more than just a dream. The London based design firm Studio RHE have unveiled their plans of a rotating hotel which will be built on the island of Solta in Croatia. The rotating section will be three storeye high and each room will rotate 1.3 times a day. The hotel is planned to be ready in 2012, so begin to save your money for a trip to Croatia.

Many of our Vagabond stores are now doing events to spice up this dark period of the year. Last night our store here at the head office acted host together with Bodyshop for some of our fantastic costumers... And this Friday, two of our stores in Stockholm, Sergelgatan and Plattan are doing events. At Plattan designer Isabella Idberg will be present all day to show her latest collection, singer/songwriter Elin Gustavsson will be playing from 12-2 and Dj Sane will be spinning some wax from 2 until closing... Competitions and 10% off on all shoes will also be offered! If you're around make sure to drop by! Last week on Wednesday, Vagabond opened their second concept store in Germany... The store can be found in the huge shopping centre at Limbecker Platz in the city of Essen. So if you are in Germany, both Berlin and Essen are now covered...
